It started as a hobby
Makes Perfect Scents Candles & More started as a hobby in 2020. I frequently purchased candles from big-box stores, but I wanted to create something healthier for people with respiratory issues like myself. I began making soy candles for my daughter and me, never imagining it would become a business.
After sharing a few with friends and family, their encouragement and rave reviews inspired me to take a leap of faith and turn my hobby into something more.
Like any business owner, I’ve had moments when I wanted to give up—and even did—but my amazing customers wouldn’t let me stay away for long. Their continued love and support remind me why I started and keep me going!
